Bummer

I spent today watching CNN and reading the newspaper about all the bad stuff happening in New Orleans. I remember years ago reading about the unique geography of New Orleans, and I wondered why people would live there. That sure is a shame, and it doesn't look like its going to get better any time soon. I'm kinda glad Katie and I stopped there on our way out here. The place of our interest, Central Grocery, is in the French Quarter, which they initially said was still above water, but now I hear it might be underwater as well.

On a happier note, Ralph's grocery store makes a delicious chocolate chip pumpkin cookie, and tomorrow is my birthday!
